Nov. 28, 2017, Nov. 28, 2017 – Siemens is set to add Solido Design Automation Inc., a vendor of variation-aware design characterization software to an EDA portfolio that it opened with the acquisition of Mentor Graphics Corp.
The terms of the deal, which is expected to close in early December 2017, were not disclosed.
Solido was founded in 2005 and has less than 200 employees, according to a LinkedIn entry. However, its machine learning-based products are currently at over 40 major companies, enabling them to design, verify, and manufacture competitive products.
