Comparison of Short Term Financial of Magma with Cadence and Mentor-September 18, 2009 |
On Tuesday September 15th I wrote about the results of Magma's exchange offer for convertible notes (see:here). Dylan McGrath also wrote an article on the subject (see: here) in which he quotes Peter Teshima, Magma's CFO, saying that "Magma's ratio of cash and investments to total debt and ratio of cash flow to total debt are comparable to or better than fellow EDA vendors Cadence Design Systems Inc. and Mentor Graphics Corp.". Peter Teshima furnished me with more details of the data he used to arrive at his conclusions. The data covers the period between now and 2014, the year the new Magma's convertible notes are due.
