Jay Vleeschhouwer, whom I consider the dean of EDA financial analysts, has just released his EDA Industry Comment letter that covers the first half of this year. To be brief: it is not good news. I have also written a blog commenting on the lack of opportunity for small EDA companies to grow to the point where they would be viable candidates for an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
