I am writing this on the way back from a wonderful trip to Israel where I enjoyed a quick customer and press tour, absolutely fantastic food, a morning run on the beach, as well as the opportunity to present at the ChipEx 2010 conference. Given that I work for a semiconductor IP company, I think the audience was a bit surprised when my very first content slide bluntly suggested that, if many things were properly aligned, design teams may want to invent everything themselves.
