The development of electronic components requires huge investments and does not leave room for errors at tapeout. In addition, as electronic designs become more complex due to the decrease in process node (now reduced to 5 nm) and the increase in the number of logic blocks, the need for verification has increased proportionally. The business is therefore faced with new challenges and must constantly reinvent its methods and techniques to meet these new needs.

In spite of this, engineering school students wishing to work in the semiconductor sector are attracted primarily by the profession of designer. Here, we look at 6 reasons to choose the profession of Electronic Verification Engineer instead.
